SDR/AE Role Playing Cards Template

Most enablement today is delivered digitally - but with screen real estate at a premium, once your SDRs or AEs have left your mandated training session they rarely have that content visible to them.

Bespoke role playing cards give your SDRs and AEs the opportunity to practice what they’ve learned individually, in pairs, or as a team.

Just like a basketball player, a football team, or a surgeon we know that those that practice off the field are the most competent on the field.

Here is a simple template you can use to craft your own set of bespoke playing cards that can be provided to your sellers.

On one side of the cards you’ll list a topic or question, and on the other you’ll provide some suggested response or guidance. The goal of the response is not to provide a script - we aren’t asking sellers to memorise. More we want them to use their creative thinking about the topic or question and the response provides some validation to their ideas.

Suggested categories include:

  • Industry - questions and topics related to the industries you sell into

  • Persona - questions and topics related to the buyer personas you sell into

  • Product - questions and topics covering you products, services and value proposition

  • Outreach - prompts to help think about prospecting approaches into specific accounts and contacts

  • Objections - quick fire responses to the most common objections

  • Competition - key themes to consider when a customer already works with another vendor
